From the time we arrived at the airport, to the end of our two hour long debates over whether or not we should go, conditions had completely disintegrated in Nairobi, and we felt that we could not take a chance on going through Kenya. Live news feed from Kenya had been stopped, and last reports showed people running around attacking trucks, running with machetes, and fleeing the city.
So for tonight...AIDSTanzania will have one big slumber party, dance off our frustrations, and decide what to do. Maybe Ethiopia, Dubai, Prague, Argentina....who knows?? But something will go on as we have plane tickets that must be used.... Hopefully we will make it to Tanzania somehow.
Hope your days have been a little less tumultuous than mine.
